MAIL ART CALL

What is mail art? I dunno! This project is supposed to help me find out. This is one of a three-part Mail Art Project. This part (MAP #2 - PENGUINS) is an internet mail art call. The second part (MAP #3 - Parrots) will consist of stamped entries left around the St. Paul / Minneapolis area. The third part (MAP #4 - Poultry) will be blank entries left around the cities without postage.

The theme for this project is PENGUINS. Please send your flat postcard-sized art contribution to the address below. Email entries also accepted in JPG, GIF, or animated GIF formats. Please keep the file size small - do not exceed 4" high x 5" wide image size, or approximately 200k. No entries will be returned.

As submissions come in, I will scan (if needed) and post them here. This project will end 31 December 2003, but the entries will be posted indefinitely at http://www.betsypreston.com. An email confirmation and list of participants will be sent to all who include an email address. Enter soon! Enter often!
