Note: if you haven't been paying attention, this already happened...Here are some pictures.

A shelter has been reserved, so it's on rain or shine. The shelter is reserved for the entire day from 9am - 10pm, but NOON is now the official start time. The park website says that 3.2 beer in cans is the only liquor allowed. There are grills and bathrooms near the shelter. The Wabun area of Minnehaha Park is by the Minnesota Veteran's Home. The falls are about 2 1/2 blocks away on the other side of the park. Parking is 50-cents/hour, and there is a pay box in the lot. Here is a map of the park.

The plan is to keep it simple - easy to scale up and down. It will be a potluck. Bring a dish to pass, bring your own stuff to drink and grill. Bring a lawn chair. There will [probably] be a volleyball net, and maybe croquet and bocce ball.
